The Homestead Resort

As if the incredible programming is not enough to fall in love with this camp, The Homestead Resort is in a class of its own! Located on beautiful Lake Michigan just north of both the charming town of Glen Arbor and the magnificent Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, The Homestead accommodations are in neighborhoods separated by nature. You'll find them along Sleeping Bear Bay, on the edge of the Crystal River, on ridgelines overlooking Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands and the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and in heavily timbered northern forests. Accommodations range from hotel rooms to condominiums and homes, range in size from one to five bedroom, and are available at Grand, Classic and Simple quality levels in all neighborhoods.

The Inn, an historic structure overlooking the river and lake; Stony Brook Lodge, an all-suite hotel with spectacular views of the lake and dunes; Little Belle, a romantic getaway for couples; and Fiddler’s Pond, a resort hotel set along sparkling ponds and pools, are all Grand Quality.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, family vacation, luxury spa indulgence, or golf outing there’s something at The Homestead for you. You can choose the level of quality, number of bedrooms, and type of view in which you are interested. Guests who rent through The Homestead have complete access to all resort amenities, restaurants, and services.

To allow your own selection of what may serve your family best, families will reserve and pay for their own accommodations. Special Hallowell Camp 2018 group room rates are being held for camp participants until May 16, 2018. After that date rates will be subject to demand. While the website may not be able to accurately reflect group room rates, you may want to call Homestead directly at (231) 334-5000 and ask specifically for group rates from the Hallowell Camp 2018 group room block. If the specific room type you desire is no longer available in the block, ask if rooms of that type are available outside of the block and if you can reserve one under the Hallowell group rate.

Availability is not guaranteed, so making your reservations sooner than later is highly recommended. Homestead will require the first night's rental plus taxes and fees, and will specify cancelation and refund policies directly with you.

If cost-sharing is a preference, especially among returning campers who have become friends and wish to share a condo or home, feel free to work together directly with The Homestead to discuss your options and reserve what is best for you. Always remember to check for availability with a Hallowell Camp 2018 group room rate.
